Black Gothic Shirt with Lace Bell Sleeves and Lacing

Estimated delivery: 15–20 business days.
Short, fitted shirt in black jacquard with a leaf pattern that only shows in the light, fastened down the centre with a row of metal hooks. The sleeves carry most of the look: they puff at the shoulder, fit close on the forearm and open from the elbow into a very wide bell of sheer floral lace, finished with several layers of ruffles.
The collar rises high at the back and opens at the front into two pleated chiffon lapels covered with lace ruffles, framing a rounded neckline that is also edged with lace. On both sides of the waist, two lace triangles with crossed velvet ribbon imitate corset lacing. It is a romantic, Victorian-inspired piece to wear with long skirts or high-waisted trousers that cover the navel; the skirt and earrings in the photos are not included.
Key features
- Back lacing: the back has velvet ribbon lacing at the waist to adjust the fit.
- Sleeve ribbons: the forearm seam is crossed with a cord that ends in loose ribbons at the elbow.
- Ruffled hem: the bottom edge of the shirt ends in a lace and chiffon ruffle that forms a peplum.
- Layered cuff: the end of each sleeve combines a lace band, a gathered band and two pleated chiffon ruffles.
- Sleeve opening: the mouth of the bell measures from 97 cm in S to 101 cm in 2XL, according to the supplier's sheet.
