Black Velvet Victorian Shirt with Lace Waist
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout
Free shipping from €80 (sale items excluded)
Estimated delivery: 15–20 business days.
Long-sleeved shirt in short-pile black velvet, with a high collar finished in a ruffle and a row of buttons down the front. The lower half of the front is covered by a guipure lace panel that imitates a bodice and ends in a point below the waist, with an open-work picot edge.
It is a Victorian-inspired piece to wear tucked in or over high-waisted long skirts, pleated trousers or pencil skirts: the lace point falls over the waistband and defines the waist without a belt. The skirt, fan and mask shown in the photos are not included; only the shirt is sold.
Key features
- Rose buttons: the front opening and the collar fasten with black embossed rose-shaped buttons.
- Pleated chest: fine pleats run down from the shoulder seam and add volume to the chest above the lace panel.
- Puffed shoulders: the sleeve is gathered at the cap and rises slightly above the shoulder.
- Ruffled cuffs: each sleeve is gathered with elastic at the wrist and opens into a velvet ruffle.
- Plain back: there is no lace at the back; the velvet is continuous, with a horizontal piece at waist level.
