Men's Gothic Black Velvet Vest with Embroidered Lace and Chain
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout
Free shipping from €80 (sale items excluded)
Estimated delivery: 15–20 business days.
The velvet of this vest has a short, dense pile that absorbs the light, and two vertical panels of embroidered lace with vine motifs are sewn onto it, running down the front from the shoulders to the hem. It is a black sleeveless men's vest with a deep V neckline and a hem that ends in a slight point on each side of the fastening.
The lace panels and the chain hanging from the chest give it the air of a period suit, so it pairs with velvet or jabot shirts, high collars and straight dark trousers. It can be worn closed as the main piece of the outfit or open over a loose shirt. The puff-sleeve shirt, trousers and shoes shown in the photos are not part of the product.
Key features
- Central zip: the front closes with an exposed silver zip; the velvet-covered buttons placed on both sides are decorative.
- Detachable chain: a cross brooch holds a double metal chain across the chest and can be removed for a more understated look.
- Braided trim: a braided cord edges the lace panels and also traces the curved seams on the back.
- Adjustable back buckle: the back has a velvet strap with an ornate buckle and metal eyelets to adjust the waist.
- Welt pocket: at the lower front there is a welt pocket set beside the lace.
